Market Development Managers are Professionals whose duty in an Organization is to help the organization generate and increase customers' interest in the Organization products and services. It is a position for people with some experience in Advertising and Marketing sometimes. Their duties in an Organzation are as follows:Work with department heads or staff to discuss topics such as budgets and contracts, marketing plans, and the selection of advertising mediaPlan promotional campaigns such as contests, coupons, or giveawaysPlan advertising campaigns, including which media to advertise in, such as radio, television, print, online media, and billboardsNegotiate advertising contractsEvaluate the look and feel of websites used in campaigns or layouts, which are sketches or plans for an advertisementInitiate market research studies and analyze their findings to understand customer and market opportunities for businessesDevelop pricing strategies for products or services marketed to the target customers of a firmMeet with clients to provide marketing or technical adviceDirect the hiring of advertising, promotions, and marketing staff and oversee their daily activities

They work in an office and makes use of Computer and Internet to carry out research on the markets and products they are interested in; as well as respond to complain from Clients about their Products/services. Sometimes they travel to different locations/markets in order to interview customers on their level of satisfaction about their product and to get information about other products of their competitors or to resolve customer complain about their product/services
